Woman dies after Portglenone collision

Police can confirm the 83 year old female pedestrian who passed away in hospital from injuries sustained in a collision in Portglenone on 31 March was Elizabeth Moore known locally by friends and family as Lizzie.

The collision, involving a Vauxhall Cavalier, occurred on Main St at around 10am on Tuesday 31st March.

Officers from PSNI Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses.

They would particularly like to speak to the driver of a white box van with a tail lift that was adjacent to a jewellers shop on the Main Street at the time of the accident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
