Woman dies in Lisburn house fire
POLICE have confirmed a 64-year-old woman has died in a house fire in the Maralin Avenue area of Lisburn.
Care workers, who arrived at the end terrace house, are thought to have raised the alarm sometime before 9.45am on Tuesday.
The Fire and Rescue Service said four appliances had been sent to the scene. Firefighters entered the property but they found the woman dead in the living room.
A small fire in the room had burnt itself out.
