Woman in £10,425 benefit fraud
A Lurgan woman was
convicted at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for claiming benefits she was not entitled
to.
Ashley Ross (35), whose address was given to the court as Richmond Gardens, Lurgan claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £10,425 while failing to declare employment.
She was given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years.
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
