Woman in serious condition after crash near Toome
A 50 year old female is in a serious condition following a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision at the Shore Road, Toome area on Tuesday morning.
Shortly after 7:30am, it was reported that a Ford Transit van and a Citroen car were involved in the incident. Another female believed to be in her 20’s was treated at the scene for non life threatening injuries. It is believed both females were travelling in the Citroen car.
The Shore Road has now re-opened following the incident.
Inspector McGrillen said: “We are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone who was travelling on the Shore Road between 7am and 7:30am to contact police by calling the non-emergency number 101.”
