Woman injured in town car crash

POLICE in Ballymena are appealing for information about a one vehicle crash in the Church Street area which has left an 87-year-old woman in a serious condition in hospital.

The collision, involving a white Mercedes Sprinter van, occurred around 11.15am on Friday, July 2.

An 87 year old female pedestrian sustained injuries and was taken to hospital. Her condition is described as serious.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the rtc or has information in relation to it to contact them at Ballymena Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
