Woman missing from Islandmagee swim dies after found in sea off coast

The woman was reported as missing at 5.30pm on Thursday when she did not return from swimming near Brown’s Bay, Islandmagee.

The PSNI has said it is not treating the death as suspicious.

The woman was recovered from the sea after she was spotted by the crew of coastguard helicopter from Prestwick.

A lifeboat crew were tasked to the location where they recovered the woman’s body.
