Woman stole children's coat and clothes

A 26-year-old woman admitted three theft offences when she appeared last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court.

She was Gemma Curry, whose address at the time of the offences was Brookfield Meadows, Banbridge.

She pleaded guilty to the theft of a children’s coat, valued at £28, from Tesco on July 28 last year and stealing clothes worth £55 on July 9 and clothes worth £88 on July 11 from Brent Kidd.

District Judge, Mr Alan White, said it was a case for a pre-sentence report and adjourned the matter until March 10 so that a report could be obtained.

The defendant’s solicitor said that she had a new address and he would provide this to the probation service.
