Woman to be reported for '˜withholding information' in body investigation

A 17-year-old woman arrested as part of the investigation into the discovery of a man's body in Mourneview Street on Sunday is to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) for withholding information.

She has been released by police.

A 35-year-old woman has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Three men, two aged 28 and one aged 30, remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries, after police were given an extra 36 hours to question them.

The body of the man was found in a stream in the Mourneview/Thomas Street area on Sunday morning.

Police have said his identity will not be confirmed until after a formal identification and the conclusion of the postmortem examination.
