Women in shop fight

TWO women, both thought to be in their late 50s, came to blows during a town centre fight.

The women, one of them out shopping with her grandchild, began brawling in the aisles of a High Street shop on Saturday afternoon.

"One of the women just launched herself at the other - obviously there was drink involved," said the store manager.

"I had to separate the two of them, they weren't holding back and I actually had to pry one of the woman's hands out of the other's hair.

"They were obviously in their late 50s because one of them was out with her grandchild - imagine being out with your granny and she starts fighting.

"I had to sweep the floor for hair and nails afterwards - it was just crazy."
