Women to speak at event
FOUR high profile women are inspiring 150 of the future generation at an International Women’s Day event in Armagh on March 8.
Armagh City and District, Banbridge and Craigavon councils have invited 150 16-18 year olds from schools across the three areas to hear Hannah Shields, mountaineer and athlete, Lord Mayor of Armagh, Councillor Sharon Haughey, Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Carla Lockhart, and Deputy Chairman of Banbridge, Councillor Elizabeth Ingram.
Each will give a synopsis of what inspires them.
