Women Walk the World at Giant’s Causeway
THE National Trust team at the Giant’s Causeway are delighted to welcome the Women’s Institutes (WI) to Northern Ireland’s only World Heritage Site this Saturday 27th April at 2pm.
The ladies will take part in their ‘Women Walk the World’ event to raise the profile of the Associated Countrywomen of the World Organisation (ACWW) and the worthwhile work that it carries out.
Margaret McMillan Area Chairperson of Riada Area Women’s Institute said: “We are thrilled that the National Trust has invited groups to the Giant’s Causeway. We’re so lucky to have such a world-famous site on our doorstep and we can think of no better setting to do our Women Walk the World.”
