Women's World Day of Prayer in Coleraine and Portrush

The first Friday in March is the well-established date for a worldwide inter-denominational event, the Women's World Day of Prayer.

In Coleraine, two meetings will be held on Friday, March 5. The first will be in Rothesay Court, Abbey Street at 2.30 pm, when music will be provided by pupils from Millburn Primary School.

The second service will be held in St. Patrick's Parish Church at 8pm, when the St. Patrick's Praise group will provide the music.

The speaker at both Rothesay Court and at St. Patrick's will be Mrs. Alice McAlary.

Meanwhile, Women’s World Day of Prayer will be marked this year in Portrush with a service in the Methodist Church.

On Friday, March 5, over three million people worldwide will be praying and worshipping together. In Portrush, the service will take place at the Methodist Church at 7.30pm.
