Woodburn’s top grade
WOODBURN Pre-school Playgroup is celebrating after obtaining an “outstanding” grade in an Education and Training Inspectorate inspection.
The key strengths of the playgroup, according to the report, include the high quality of staff interaction in promoting the children’s care, learning and development, and the highly effective methods of planning and assessment used.
The high quality and progression of the pre-school programme offered to the children and the outstanding leadership provided were also praised.
The inspection in February found that the quality of education and pastoral care provided by the playgroup is of outstanding quality.
