Woodolf lights up Gardens

Woodolf the Red Nose Reindeer was created from Willow, plenty of TLC and a bright shiny nose.

He was definitely glowing to be a star attraction standing at over 5ft tall, Woodolf was there to guide visitors to the Reindeer Trail at this year’s.

Samuel Hyndman, Garden Heritage Development Officer, said: “After using contractors in previous years the gardeners were very keen to have a go themselves this year.”

One of the gardening team Ian Bamford had studied sculpting many years ago and was able to put his skills into great use and together with the team Woodolf was created.
