Work begins on Castlemara path
Work has commenced on a new pathway from the rear of the Castlemara estate towards Prince Andrew Way, local councillors have been told.
The scheme was included as part of a capital projects update at Monday night’s Building Services Committee meeting.
The path will link the estate with Prince Andrew Way and the new garage forecourt and shops.
Construction began on February 27 and is expected to finish around March 21.
As of March 10, tarmac had been laid, with drainage and solar lighting columns installed.
