Work of local artists on show

LOCAL artists Sean McConville and Paddy Grey are displaying their works of art at Infloor.

The paintings are all done in oils and are a mixture of both seascape and landscapes.

Both men will paint to order and they will even paint from pictures, there is also the opportunity to meet with the artists at Infloor, on William Street, to discuss any ideas that you have.

The artists have been displaying their work at Infloor since January, Davy Crawford of Infloor said: “ We are happy to provide a venue for local artists to help get them into the public domain.”

Paddy has been painting for the past 45 years and is self taught, although he did go to an art class just to brush up.

He has sold his work privately from his own home and as far away as America.

Sean has been taught by Paddy for the past five years, and has always had an interest in painting.

The part-time artist also works as a car part salesman and is self taught in the ways of painting.

The two artists have also had their work exhibited at the Corner House and are planning to exhibit in the summer at Meadows Equestrian Centre.

They are hoping that their time at Infloor will lead to more people getting the chance to see their work.
