Work starts on Drumalla site
Seven new homes are being built in Carnlough.
Coast Road councillor James McKeown welcomed the social housing scheme by Oaklee Housing Association.
“We’ve been saying for a long time that there is a dearth of social housing in Carnlough,” said the Sinn Fein man.
“This gives hope to young people who want to stay in the village, rather than have to move to Larne or Ballymena,” he added.
Contractor Donaghmore Construction is on site.
