Work to begin on Lurganure Road

Work on the resurfacing and reconstruction scheme will take around eight weeks and is expected to be complete before the end of June.

The works will improve the strength and surface quality of the road and help resolve ongoing maintenance issues.

To help ensure the safety of road users and contractors a road closure will be necessary Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. A diversion will be in operation via A3 Moira Road, Lany Road, Halfpenny Gate Road.

The works and traffic management arrangements have been planned to minimise any inconvenience, however, drivers should expect some delays when travelling in the area.
