Works to East Strand Portrush

FOLLOWING the recent winter storms and high tides, the promenade at East Strand Portrush has suffered further infrastructure damage.

Coleraine Borough Council is currently engaged in action to repair defective sections of the promenade, including the slipway adjacent to the Watersports Centre.

East Strand Beach and promenade will remain open throughout the works programme which began on Monday

It is anticipated that the repairs will be complete by March 17.

There are six sections of concern, one of which is the slipway which recently suffered damage.

During this period a number of areas along the East Strand promenade will either be closed or have access restricted.

However, access to the Arcadia, the beach and the Watersports centre will remain open.
