Workshop on family history at Kells Library

KELLS and Connor Library is holding a free, ‘Family History on the Web’ workshop for budding historians and those interested in family history.

The workshop will take place on Saturday 16th March from 10.30am - 11.30am and will offer you advice on how to start researching your family history.

During this workshop you will enjoy an introduction to the online resources available in libraries to help you research your family history including Ancestry Library Edition.

Ancestry Library Edition enables you to search UK and US census collections, immigration records, shipping lists, military records, photographs and maps and it has access to over 4,000 databases and collections. It is available free to library members of Northern Ireland libraries.

You will need to have some basic computer skills to fully benefit from the workshops.
