World War 2 talk in Garvagh
Garvagh Historical Society will hold the last meeting of the season in the Community Building, Garvagh, on Thursday, June 26 at 8pm.
The speaker will be Mrs Diana Kirkpatrick and her subject will be “A survivor of Conflict- A Coleraine man’s war”. This relates to her father’s experiences in World War 2 in Coleraine Battery.
He fought in the Western Desert Campaign. Visitors will be made welcome
