Glee at Damian’s dramatic success

LONDONDERRY Deputy Mayor Kevin Campbell has congratulated young actor and singer Damian McGinty, who has just won a role in the hit US musical drama Glee.

Damian made it down to the last 12 finalists out of 40,000 contestants for the Glee Project.

Deputy Mayor Kevin Campbell said: “This is a great achievement for Damian to get a part in the next series of Glee.

“Glee is one of the most popular TV shows in America and is watched by millions across the world. Damian’s progress into the finals has been eagerly watched over recent weeks by his fans in Derry. I would like to wish Damian all the best for the future, it’s a great opportunity for him,” the Deputy Mayor said.
