WWI images replace sectarian graffiti in Londonderry
The art was erected outside Cathedral Youth Club, in the Fountain area on the west bank of the city, in place of a raft of sectarian graffiti.
It was unveiled late last month, and pictured at the launch is resident Anne Breslin, Jeanette Warke from the youth club, Housing Executive Good Relations Officer Eddie Breslin, and Area Manager Avril McAllister, along with local children.

Hide AdMs Warke said in a statement on Friday: “Within the area, 99 local men were recruited and fought in the war. These murals will bear a lasting testimony to the memory of the men that fought in the Great War during its centenary year.”
