X-Factor finalist’s Carrick College show

Former X-Factor finalist Nicholas McDonald topped the bill at a recent fundraising concert in Carrickfergus College.

Organised in aid of the school’s two charities for this academic year - Habitat for Humanity and the Trussell Trust - the event raised over £1100.

Also performing were past pupils Laura Dunlop and upcoming local talent Joseph McVeigh, along with members of staff past and present.

Sixth year pupils worked tirelessly in the run up to the event in order to maximise the funds raised for each organisation.

The school’s assembly hall was packed out for the show, which featured MC Fabu D.
