

Emma McIlveen was one of 17 candidates selected from an original group of 46 to work towards implementing the NIYF’s new ‘vision 2020’ strategy which will see the next generation having more influence over the political process.
The former pupil of Kells & Connor PS and Ballymena Academy was the first person in her family to attend university, graduating top of her class at Queen’s University Belfast with a First Class Honours degree in Law with Politics.

Emma then completed legal internships in London, Los Angeles and Bejiing and served as Chairperson of the Board of Advisers for Opportunity Youth in Belfast.
She is currently working as a legal consultant for a leading international law firm in Brussels.
