Sergeant Sam Young said that on Saturday January 25, a youth was assaulted during a match at Meadowbank arena.

“It is alleged that the youth, who was playing for one of the teams, became involved in a dispute with an opponent. At that point, another opposing player ran over and punched him once in the face. Upon medical examination it was noted that he had a broken eye socket.”
