Zombies on the loose in Lisburn

In the run-up to the big event in October hosted by The Jungle Outdoor Adventure Centre in Moneymore, Zombies will be invading Lisburn on Saturday September 12 to recruit willing participants for the terrifically twisted run on Sunday October 11.

Speaking to The Peter Flanagan Show on Lisburn’s 98FM, one of the organisers, Robert Carmichael said the Zombies were spotted in Newry and Banbridge and they will be lurking around the street corners during the course of Saturday.

If you manage to get your hands on a zombie and snap a ‘zelfie’, by using the hashtag #thejunglefrightnight2015 on twitter you could be in with the chance to win Fright Night ‘Access All Areas’ passes for the big event in aid of Austim NI on October 11 at The Jungle NI, Moneymore.

Robert explained: “We’ve always liked to think we’ve done things a little bit different and added our own innovation to it. “It’s a 5k run, it’s across our farm, it’s through the woods, lakes and rivers. There are also, in addition to the natural obstacles, man-made obstacles, walls etc.

“Each runner will have attached to them a belt with three ribbons that represent their lives, their ambition is not only to finish the 5k run but to have as many lives in tact as possible.”
