From the famous pumpkin spice latte to sweet honeycomb drinks, here are the new menus from Costa, Starbucks, Pret A Manger and Caffe Nero.

Costa

Costa Coffee have added to their honeycomb range with the introduction of a honeycomb latte macchiato and honeycomb cappuccino - ideal for a  pick-me-up on after a walk on a crisp day.

If you fancy a sweet treat to enjoy alongside your coffee, why not try out the new caramel Bramley apple tart or the new chocolate torte – a sweet chocolate pastry case filled with chocolate ganache?

Fans of a nostalgic classic will also be thrilled to see the Rolo muffin still in the counter, following its hugely popular launch earlier this year.

The new sweet treats don’t end there – there’ also a carb killa salted caramel chocolate chip bar and a jammy flapjack, which is vegan and gluten free.

If you’re popping into Costa for lunch then there will be new savoury options including a Hoisin duck wrap and a creamy mushroom risotto. There’s also a new sausage roll, ideal for a warming snack.

Starbucks

Starbucks is probably best know for its autumn menu, thanks to the popular pumpkin spice latte, which is due back in stores on 25 September.

The popular drink is a warming combination of Starbucks espresso, pumpkin flavoured sauce and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.

While a full autumn menu hasn’t been announced yet, last year Starbucks coffee fans enjoyed a Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Macchiato, an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte,  Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino and a Mocha Praline Macchiato.

There are usually also seasonal bakes, such as pumpkin loaf cake.

Pret a Manger

Pret also has its version of a pumpkin spice latte, which is available now. The chain has also released its autumn soup rota, which includes flavours such as chicken katsu, mushroom risotto and pea and mint and a new addition, chicken laska.

Meat and veggie morning rolls are also available as well as a new firecracker chicken toasted focaccia and a new sausage roll.

Caffe Nero

Caffe Nero have a chai latte – a blend of cinnamon, spices, black tea and sugar with steamed milk and a layer of foam – which is ideal for warming up with as the weather gets colder.

As well as the usual coffees, there’s a decadent chocolate Milano – smooth liquid chocolate, served in a glass, topped with whipped cream and Belgian chocolate sprinkles.

Last year the high street chain launched a new Christmas menu, which included festive lattes such as salted caramel drizzle, spice ginger with cinnamon, hazelnut and chocolate chip and caramelised almond with golden crunch.

There was also a pigs in blankets toastie and a layered red velvet cake.
