A dream come true as Ross plays tennis with Djokovic

Ross, who will celebrate his 21st birthday later this month, won a competition through Head Tennis after purchasing a new tennis racquet.

Ross travelled to London last month, and he was then invited to meet and play tennis with Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon.

Downshire Tennis Club member, Ross said: “I was very surprised to win the competition as it was global. It was an amazing feeling to know that I has won this competition and was even more excited when I was told that my girlfriend Rachel and I would meet Djokovic and Sharapova in London, close to Wimbledon.

“On the day of arrival, we were taken for a guided tour around The All England Club, Wimbledon. The experience and tour was amazing as I have never been to the venue before and have only seen it on TV.

“The next day we were taken to a private court in the Wimbledon Village. The experience was unbelievable; a dream come true for any tennis fan. Meeting them both was one thing, but to play with them and speak with them was out of this world. Djokovic has been a tennis hero of mine for many many years, and Sharapova is my favourite player on the Women’s Tour.

“I will never forget the experience in London and it was definitely the best day of my life.”
