A great team display

LURGAN Town under 11s faced a strong Glentoran team last Wednesday night but ran out 4-2 winners.

Rhys Jones opened the scoring after some good passing by Sammy Davidson and Jamie Leighton before Josiah Burgess converted a penalty for the second goal.

Glentoran managed to pull a goal back before half-time and just after the re-start they added a second.

When Brendan McMullen was upended in the box Burgess scored from the spot to make it 3-2.

The Burgess was involved again when he found John Lee McAfee who completed the scoring.

This was a great team performance with everyone playing their part.
