Academy repay sponsors' faith

IT was smiles and congratulations all round as three of Ballymena Academy's Schools' Cup team made the short trip from the Galgorm Road to the Ballycowan Road, home of one of their principal sponsors, The Country Garage, Ballymena.

Matthew Rea, Sam McNabney and George Hargy accompanied by coaches John Andrews and Gavin Murray not only put in a personal appearance but they also brought the Schools’ Cup trophy to the delight of Samantha Walker, Marketing Manager of the Country Garage.

“Having cheered the team on to victory over BRA at the final at Ravenhill on St. Patrick’s day to see three of the winning superstars – and rest assured they are superstars in Ballymena - has given us all here at the showroom just as much pleasure.
