Academy showjumpers celebrate success in inter-schools’ league

Ballymena Academy jumped to success again in the third leg of the Inter-school’s Showjumping League at the Meadows Equestrian Centre.

In the novice competition the ‘Navy’ team (Jamie Lee Mark, Sarah McNabney, Rachel Fullerton and Courtney Hamilton) achieved 2nd place which places them in the lead of the league.

The ‘Red’ team (William Hamilton, Jamie Lee Mark and Ellen Harkess) achieved 6th place.

In the Open section (Ben Peppert, Sarah Wylie and Tori Surgeoner) achieved 3rd place in a competitive field of 12 teams.

Individually Zoe Dickey jumped a lovely double clear in the 85cm class and Ben Peppert galloped to success individually winning both the 1metre and the Premier class.
