The various race distances took place on Saturday around the National Park and Muckross House, and with several hundred runners taking part, plus the usual hive of tourists, the atmosphere in Killarney was superb.

The Half Marathon got underway at 8.45am, and the weather conditions were ideal as the several hundred runners made their way to the start line.
