Action packed weekend is set for the north coast

Ten outdoor activity events will take place over on the north coast as part of Northern Ireland’s Adventureland Weekend at a reduced rate of either £10 or 50% off, offering locals the chance to enjoy some family fun or get their hearts racing on the more adrenaline fuelled activities.

Places are still available for a range of activities which can be booked online. Families will be able to choose from events such as an exhilarating sea safari ride along the Causeway Coast and Rathlin Island with Aquaholics and Portrush Sea Tours, test their skills stand up paddle boarding in Portrush with Troggs Surf School or enjoy a relaxing session on off road trails by horse back.

Alternatively adults and groups of friends can try out sea kayaking or rock climbing in Portrush with Xplore Outdoors or learn to surf some waves at West Strand in Portrush with Alive Surf School.

The Northern Ireland Adventureland Weekend is an initiative of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) in association with OutdoorNI.com and is all about getting people outdoors and trying something new, whether that’s with friends, spending some quality time with the other half or doing something different with the family. With events suitable for those aged from three to one hundred and three there is something for everyone over this fun filled weekend.

All events being offered by the seven north coast based activity providers are perfect for beginners, enthusiasts, families or groups of friends and everyone is encouraged to come and try what’s on offer.
