Adrian wins Stableford tourney at Castlerock
PLEASANT weather conditions on Saturday helped Adrian Creighton to build a score of 44 points off his handicap mark of 11.
This was one better than Ronnie McMullan’s 43 off 14. Ken Newens (12) took the low section with a total of 41 points and Richard Martin was the high section leader again with 41 points off 14.
The gross was won by William Hewiston (5) with 34 gross points. While David Ilsley (23) was scoring 39 points to make off with the senior section in Castlerock, David junior was making Saturday a family affair by helping himself to second spot in Portstewart.
