Aghadowey gears up for first championships

With a total of 18 races being held, as there will be two heats and a Final for each of the six classes, this should be an exciting day out for both drivers and spectators.

1600 Lightning Rods – First place went to Gregg McMullan, Mark Frew second and Robert McIlroy finished third

1400 Saloon Stockcars – Joshua McMullan finished in first place with Daniel McAleese second and Adam McMullan third.

2L Sierras - David Faloon picked up the winner’s trophy with Adam White in second place and Ronnie White in third.

Open Hot Rod – Jaye Nevin crossed the finishing line ahead of David Gurney and Jonathan Nevin took third place.

1600 Bangers – Karl McFaul finished in pole position with William McFaul second and number 95 third.

Next meeting – Aghadowey Stock Car Stadium Championships will be held on Saturday 25 June featuring 1600 Bangers, Open Hotrods, Lightening Rods, 2L Sierras, and Juniors. Racing starts at 1.00pm sharp.
