Lagan Valley have been struggling to date in NIBA Division Five and their misfortune was compounded when they lost by a quarter-of-a-shot at home to First Ballymac on Tuesday night.

In a tense game, it was nip and tuck but George Murdoch’s rink were playing against three players and when this was added and quartered Valley lost by 5.25 shots.
