Agony as Wallace lose in semi

WALLACE High School failed in their bid to reach the final of the Northern Bank Schools' Cup on Tuesday afternoon at Ravenhill.

The Lisburn pack were pipped 16-12 by Belfast Royal Academy in an exciting tussle.

Wallace made a great start racing into a 12-3 lead, but they were unable to build on that lead and BRA hauled themselves back into the tie and went on to seal victory and book their place in the final back at Ravenhill on St. Patrick's Day.

It was a great run by Wallace who have yet to win the cup despite having reached three finals in the past.

They were cheered on by a huge crowd of pupils who made banners especially for the big day.
