All change for darts players

TOMORROW night, (Thursday) sees the start of the new league campaign in the Avis Rent A Car sponsored Eglinton & District Darts League.

This season there will be will six players per team plus at least one sub to be named and the maximum points is six per match. The player who wins two legs first in each game will gain the full point for their team.

The Home team will throw first games 1, 3 and 5 and the Away team will throw games 2, 4 and 6.

The first monthly meeting is on Monday, September 20, in Eglinton Cricket Club at 8.30pm sharp and all pubs participating must have at least one representative or there will be a points deduction from league points scored.

The following games are the fixtures for Week 1: Donaghys vs Rising Sun B; Eglinton Cricket Club vs Riverside Bar B; Longfield C vs Macons Bar; Rising Sun A vs Longfield A; Riverside A vs Gort Na Drum; Longfield B - BYE.
