All seven boost for Hilden

HILDEN simply romped to victory over Ballymena Park in Private Greens Senior Three, winning by a massive 64 shots and taking all seven points.

The win certainly puts their promotion ambitions back on track after two hard-earned away wins in their opening games.

A five at the seventh gave Raymond Gourley an 8-4 lead and it was 17-13 at 15 ends before Hilden recorded an 11 shots win.

After lifting five, four and three Maurice Kirkwood was 17-4mahead at the tenth and a three helped Hilden to 26-4 at 16 ends before they added another three to win by 31 shots.

Jonathan McMullan started with six, two, five and five at the tenth gave him a 20-5 lead. Two more threes helped Hilden to a 27-10 advantage at 16 ends, though they failed to score again but won by ten shots.

A five at the first spurred Stephen Kirkwood to a 14-8 lead at 11 ends and 16-11 at 15 ends. Hilden finished with a three to win by 12 shots.
