Peter Hillen has had a wonderful season. He plays his Saturday golf with Rory Madeley, Jonathan Shannon and Jonathan Burns and these three great players have really inspired him.

He played the 14 holes of this sweep in one under par gross and that is close to brilliant.

1st- Peter Hillen (11) 39 points.

2nd- Gerry McBrien (21) 35 points

John Fitzpatrick has come very close to winning several times this season. Now that he has broken his duck, John can go on to great things. Watch out for him next year.

1st- John Fitzpatrick (18) 29 points.

2nd- Gerry Blevins (19) Nettt 29.5.

3rd- Mel Hamill (15) Nett 29.5.

SATURDAY 8TH NOVEMBER

John Russell plays every Saturday with Colin Smylie. Colin won the Saturday Sweep the previous week so it was a case of “If you can do it, then so can I.”

In extremely wet conditions, John played the 14 holes in 3 under par gross. That was superb golf.

Colin McKinney, at the 12th hole, hit the shot of the day. Colin’s ball flew straight and true and landed in the hole for his fifth “hole in one” of his career. Nice one, Colin!

Winner: John Russell (8) 37 points.

2nd- James Wilson (12) 34 points.

Section 13-17:

1st- Dennis Watt (17) 36 points.

2nd- Alan McGowan (15) 36 points.

Section 18+:

1st- Kieran McGreevey (22) 37 points.

2nd- Sean McGreevey (19) 32 points.

Best Gross: Rory Madeley 28 gross points.

Best Senior: Tom Fee (14) 35 pts
