Allen and Gillespie retain Pairs title
Barbara Allen (St John’s) and Jean Gillespie (United) retained their Larne and District Ladies’ Darts League Pairs title at the Royal British Legion Club.
Linda Swann and Marwin Hardy (No. 1 Eagles) were runners-up. In a hard-fought showpiece match, it was Allen and Gillespie who edged to a 3 - 2 success.
In the first semi-final Swann and Hardy saw off St John’s duo Julieanne Montgomery and Christine McCormac 2 - 0. In the other half of the draw, Allen and Gillespie defeated Legion Wings’ pair Sharon O’Toole and Irene Haveron 2 - 0.
