Pistols were able to call upon the services of a certain Mark Allen for the final and he found his rhythm to take the opening frame against Chris Boreland with a well constructed 104 clearance.

Although Mark opened frame two with a 64 break Chris was still well in the frame due to his start on handicap but a loose safety from the Coleraine player proved to be his undoing as Mark cleared up to take the frame. Jamie Martin extended Pistols’ lead winning the opening frame against James Nesbitt. The Potters player played well however in frame two to give the league new boys an outside chance at halfway.
