Another addition to the Black belt ranks at the Causeway Judo Club

ON the 17th April, Chris Gaile from the Causeway Judo club travelled to Belfast for a Grading and was succesfull in completing a line up to achieve his Black Belt in Judo.

Chris achieved his belt in style and was flawless in his two qualifying contests and three consecutive line up contests.

Coach Alan Ashcroft added: "Chris has been training hard and been very focused and it's paid off. I'd like to congratulate him for his achievement."

Whether you'd like to be a black belt in Judo or if you'd just like to get fit and learn new skills the Causeway Club is the perfect place to try Judo.

The Causeway Judo club trains in the Castle Community Centre, Ballymoney. New members are always welcome and training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday night. 7 to 8pm for juniors and 8 to 9.30pm for seniors. Classes are 2 for juniors and 3 for seniors.

All you need is an old tracksuit to get started.
