Meanwhile the Junior players headed off to Lurgan Ladies for their annual tournament. A great day out with lots of enthusiastic supporters, the weather held with only one shower and of all the squads played well.

The Year 4 squad was Emily Shields, Ellen Brown, Emma Murphy, Ruby Wilson, Pippa Wilson,Tara McCambley and Sophie Mairs. They played well, covering the space and winning two games against Saintfield and Lurgan B. Sophie Mairs must be mentioned for great goal saving in the final match against Lurgan. She is a confident, strong defender.

The Year 5 squad was represented by Katie Mc Donald, Emer Melville, Rachel Wilson, Katie Dougan, AJ Welshman and Ruby McCambley. There were also two younger players who played up were Tara McCambley and Ellen Brown. Katie McDonald was very strong throughout scoring a great goal on the whistle in one match.

The Year 6 squad was Chloe Gibson, Sophie Moore, Kellie Brush, Megan Creighton and Amy Ball. The girls played well with the defence having to do a lot of work, so well done to Chloe, Amy and Sophie who were put under a lot of pressure.

The Year 7 squad had a hard draw but fought hard. The squad was Katie Welshman, Anna Rutledge, Becky McKeown, Ana McKinstry, Megan MacKay,Holly Hanna, Caitlyn Lyness and Emma Guiney.
