Another good win for St Mary's

DIVISION Two winners St Mary's grabbed another win as they beat Castlerock by nine shots last week.

The visitors picked up another 5.5 points to increase their lead at the top of the league to 29 points.

John Campbell beat Brian Wilson by four shots before Ronnie Milliken grabbed a nine shot win over Victor Callaghan.

In the second half Ronnie Steele secured a point for the hosts with a four shot win over Arthur Rainey before Jackie Hutchinson and Declan McCann made do with a share of the spoils.

First Coleraine moved up to second spot with a 24-shot win over Garvagh and District. David Livingston put the visitors in front with a one shot win over Robert Campbell, but that was as good as it got for Garvagh and District as the hosts won the next three games.

Bryan Shaw beat David Workman by two, Colin Hutchinson saw off Ian Reynolds by 13 and Jim Campbell wrapped things up with a 10 shot win over Ken McClenaghan.

Drumreagh closed the gap on thrid place with an excellent 37-shot win at home to Killowen.

Carson Boyd gave them a great start as he beat Sadie Davis by 22 shots, before Richard Clyde eased past Billy Boyce picking up another eight.

Edwin Jackson added another eight to their total beating Sammy Connor jnr, before Joe David picked up a consolation point for Killowen following his one shot win over Andy Campbell.
