Anton hits the target for U16s

Banbridge Town U16s 1

New Grosvenor 0

BANBRIDGE Town U16s played New Grosvenor at Ballymacross on Saturday and came away with all three points.

In what was a bit of a scrappy game Banbridge scored the only goal from a corner in he second half. Banbridge's two centre halfs combined to carve out the goal. Anton O'Hanlon headed on for Taylor Scott to loop a header into the top corner of the net.

Man of the match went to new signing Johnny Bergin in nets who made four excellent saves to keep his side in the match.

Johnny was signed from Glenavon and also went to the Milk Cup with Armagh.
