Antrim's preparations for Ulster Camogie Championship continue

THE Antrim Senior Camogie team continued their preparation for the Ulster Senior Championship and the All Ireland Junior Championship with a tough match against a strong Kilkenny team at Corrigan Park on Saturday.

Although Antrim were on the wrong side of a five point defeat they put in a competitive hard working performance.

The final score was Antrim 1-13 Kilkenny 5.5.

However Antrim managed 14 scores against Kilkenny’s 10 and it was only Kilkenny’s ability to take goals at critical times that kept them in the game and eventually gave them victory.
