Archer Nesbitt is joint British U18 champion

BALLYVALLY Archery Club is delighted to announce that in December 2009 their junior member, Mark Nesbitt, became joint British Junior Under-18 Champion by tying for first place in his class at the British Junior National Indoor Championships at Lilleshaw, England.

The Northern Ireland Junior team, of which Mark was part, came second overall.

Another Ballyvally Junior is doing well on the international front. Amy Lavery has been chosen to receive one week of coaching in Korea, home of world champion archers, as part of the Northern Ireland Under 23 team. This trip is partly funded by Northern Ireland Archery Society.

Indoor training sessions for Ballyvally Archery Club recommence on Wed 4 January and Thursday 5 January in Banbridge Leisure Centre. There are early sessions hourly from 3.30pm to 5.30pm and evening sessions from 6.30-8.30pm.
