Armagh set for‘biggest test’

Jamie Clarke and Tony Kernan are the obvious choices and Andrew Murnan’s performance against Sligo last time out could put the St. Paul’s man into the running for the number 14 jersey.

With Fermanagh full forward Sean Quigley again expected to be a threat, Charlie Vernon will be expected to continue with the marking job which he was given when the sides last met in the league.

In Armagh’s last visit to Croke Park they put in a memorable performance against Donegal in the All Ireland quarter final yet lost by a single point.

Armagh supporters will recall the last time the sides met at the venue back in 2005 when Fermanagh won thanks to a late Tom Brewster point which secured an historic win.

Kieran McGeeney’s side on this occasion however should be good enough to lift the Division 3 title. The action starts at 7.15pm.
